When a man urinates, he uses the same muscle to control his bladder that he uses during sex to prolong ejaculation. This little muscle is called the PC muscle. It stops the flow of urine as well as is tightened to stop ejaculation.
If you are suffering from premature ejaculation, using this muscle can help you stop climaxing too soon. The next time you urine and stop the flow by tightening the muscle, realize it is the source to help you sexually. When you put unneeded stress on the PC muscles, you are setting yourself up for premature ejaculation as well as other side effects that are negative.
In research and studies, men use the PC muscles during sex to prolong their experiences. They state they feel more stimulated as well as better erections. Men with erectile dysfunction use the same muscle to boost their size and firmness as they flex the muscle. Men also report as soreness between the testicles and anus.
The Kegel exercises are another method to increase the strength of the PC muscles. This technique is done by flexing the muscle and holding it firm for about 5 seconds. Relax the muscle and repeat for several minutes. This slowly increases the strength without any negative side effects. This should be done about five times a day in the beginning and building up to ten times a day. Avoid using the PC muscle too much as it will weaken the muscle and cause sexual complications according to reports and research.
When you flex the PC muscle, you will stimulate the Cowper’s gland and the prostate. The gland is responsible for producing the pre-ejaculation seminal fluid that is a sticky substance prior to ejaculation. The purpose of the fluid is to lubricate and cleanse the urethra of acidy materials such as urine and to provide an easier path for the semen to be expelled.
The fluid is also responsible for orgasm since it contains PGE-2, which is an ingredient found in semen. The more the PC muscle is flexed, the more the Cowper’s gland is used resulting in orgasms due to the body sending signals to the brain of the pending orgasm.
When you over use the PC muscle, you are creating a negative effect on the prostate gland and possibly experiencing premature ejaculation. The contractions of the PC muscle are the male g-spot consisting of the same tissue as the female g-spot, thus very sensitive and tender with sexual activities.
Over using the PC muscles creates DHT in the body. DHT is a derivative of testosterone with an androgenic activity produced naturally in the body. The extreme levels of DHT can lead to hair loss yet is more likely to result in PE. DHT and hair loss are related as the metabolism is altered by changes in androgen, a male hormone. The metabolism of androgen becomes involved with an enzyme called the 5 alpha reductaste that often combines with testosterone to produce DHT. If using the Kegel exercises to strengthen the PC muscles, be careful not to overdo the exercises that may tear the fibers of the muscle. The repair the muscles is often a lengthy process. Testosterone is present during sex to produce the seminal fluids and erection. An imbalance can be created with too much exercise of the PC muscle.
When there is excess DHT in the body, it binds to the prostate gland and surrounding muscles. This causes an enlarged prostate gland leading resulting in too much stimulation during sex and making it harder to prolong climax. DHT also blocks communication in the body leading to pre-ejaculation fluids and premature ejaculation.
